The septic system runs straight south of the house from the master bathroom. There is a tank and then a clean out into which the owner puts root killer. Then the lateral lines go south toward the back pasture.

The lateral lines are west of two big trees. One is a native pecan tree and the other is a beautiful elm tree.

Just south of the elm tree and south of the lateral lines are two inactive petroleum pipelines. They have been purged, but Conoco Phillips still retains the easement. Here is what a pipeliner at Conoco Phillips wrote about the pipeline:

P66 has 2 Out of Service pipelines running Southwest-Northeast through the backyard of this property. The Northern most pipeline is 12” in diameter, while the Southern pipeline is 10” in diameter. There is typically 5 ft. between the two pipelines. According to my map, the pipelines are about 75 ft. South of the Eastern edge of this house. As we spoke about earlier, these pipelines have been purged and have nothing in them, but P66 will continue to retain the easement.
